How Much Does Leadership Coaching Cost? Honest Pricing for Agency Leaders
Most leadership coaches bury their pricing behind a discovery call. The logic, presumably, is that once you have spent 30 minutes talking to someone you like, the number feels smaller.
I do not operate that way. If you are an MD or founder of a creative, events or exhibition agency trying to work out whether this kind of investment makes commercial sense for your business, you deserve a straight answer before you book anything.
Here it is.
What leadership coaching costs at The Leadership Line
1:1 Leadership Partnership Six sessions of private coaching for an MD, founder or senior leader. Built around the Above the Line framework and whatever is live in the business right now. No fixed curriculum. £3,000
Above the Line Group Programme A nine-week programme for Heads of Department, Client Services Directors, Senior Producers and rising leaders making the shift from doing to leading. Limited to eight participants per cohort. £1,800 per participant
Agency Leadership Programme Five half-day workshops across five months, plus a 1:1 coaching session per participant per workshop, for up to six leaders. This is the whole-team intervention, shared language, shared standards, measurable shift across all five pillars. £10,500
There is an option to procure stand alone workshops.
All prices are ex-VAT. Travel within the UK is included for London and the South East.
How to think about whether it is worth it
The investment question is rarely about the coaching cost. It is about the cost of the alternative.
One senior hire getting it wrong costs a creative agency between £15,000 and £25,000 in recruitment, onboarding and lost client confidence. Twelve months of the MD still being the operational bottleneck costs the business in stalled strategy, slower growth and founder burnout. A leadership transition that sets the wrong culture in year one costs multiples of that to correct at year three.
Against those numbers, £10,500 to build a shared leadership framework across an entire senior team is not a coaching decision. It is a risk management decision.
The agencies I work with come to that conclusion relatively quickly. The ones who do not are usually still thinking of leadership development as a training budget line rather than commercial infrastructure.
What you are not paying for
Generic content retrofitted to agency life. Frameworks built for corporate environments that your leaders will spend the first two sessions translating into something relevant.
What you are paying for is nearly 30 years of running an exhibition and events agency from the inside. The scenarios, the pressure, the client dynamics, the leadership decisions that sit alongside all of it that is the context the work happens in. No translation required.
Next step
If the numbers make sense and the problem is recognisable, the right move is a discovery call. Thirty minutes. No obligation. An honest conversation about whether this is the right intervention for your business right now.
